I mostly pack out to headwaters and remote areas to fly fish, so having a net that packs down tightly enough to fit in my bag is perfect. I donβt utilize the belt loops but I may in the future. Additionally, the net dries very fast so even if you submerge it, it will be dry enough to pack away in just a few minutes.

Havenβt had any issues yet it have been great and compacted. Will be great for when I travel. Definitely had to watch a video to collapse it.

I like how light and compact the net is, but itβs a bit of effort to fold up the netting in such a way that it can be stuffed into the stiff leather pouch. I am using mink oil to soften the pouch, so perhaps the problem will go away. Overall, I am happy with the purchase

Hiked up to 7,500 feet and caught these great cutthroats. Couldnβt have done it without my Reyr net. Who has the oomph to pack a big net along with all the other gear up there? My Reyr rod and net make my hiking/fishing experiences so much easier. Iβm their biggest fan!!!

fishing very tight environment. Having net neatly on belt has resulted in less issues getting hung up. Great American made product

Impossible to fold. Watched videos like a million times.

Would not fold up correctly after testing out brand new out of the box. Pouch seems too small to accommodate the size of the net. Disappointed

Great compact little net... Takes a few tries to fold correctly, but once done right, it's very repeatable.

Really like the size & compactness of the net. The teak handle is sturdy & everything seems well made. I will say that Iβm having a really tough time getting the thing to collapse as advertised. Maybe itβs just me. Also, the net is fraying already in one small spot. I had to repair it with Kevlar thread. Iβm hopeful I can figure out how to collapse it predictably in the next few days.

I finally was able to get out on the water this past weekend and try out my new REYR Collapsible Insta-net. I attached it to my fishing belt easily through the belt loops. During an afternoon with a handful of brook trout on the line I easily deployed the net one handed and landed them. After getting them back in the water folding the net back into its pouch-sized shape was a cinch and I had a line back on the water in no time. Great addition to my fly-fishing kit. Highly recommend!

Fun net. Works well. Took me a minute to get it folded back in.

Very stiff leather and not easily collapsible net. Overall the net is light but the pouch is heavy. Quite frankly, for the price I shouldnβt have to treat the leather. Without treatment it is uncomfortable to wear

Increase size of leather pouch Increase size of slots so belt buckle might fit I would return it had I not used it on the river.

Takes a bit to figure out the fold but the utility of this net, at the price point is pretty hard to beat.

Very handy and just the thing for fishing small MTN streams in the Rockies. It took me several tries to get the gist of collapsing the net but it's easy once you get the hang of it.

Great net lost my first one so had to buy another

The lifetime warranty on the collapsible net is for real! My fishing net folded incorrectly, causing irreversible damage to the net. I contacted Reyr and returned it for inspection. Reyr agreed to replace it free of charge (except for shipping) and a new one was shipped. The new net collapses and folds as expected; and now Iβm ready to catch fish! Thanks to the Reyr Team for excellent service and for backing up their warranty.

In its packed state, a real space saver and cool looking, although my wader belt was too wide to fit the "holster". Extends instantly and works as advertised on fish with an ultralight steel frame. Refolding requires some practice, as the correct "rotation" is somewhere between 270 and 360 degrees before it naturally folds into 3 loops. Just don't force it until you learn the right technique! As a practical matter, I kept it folded for travel and storage, but kept it open/deployed for my time on the water like any other net...worked great!

My family does a lot of hiking and fishing. Finding a net that was easily packed into a backpack has been nearly impossible until now. Fishing season hasn't hit yet, so I can't report on actual usage, but we've had fun popping it open and then twisting it back into its pouch

Only have used it a couple times noce and easy to work with. Definitely had to watch a video to put it back in its pounch. But great product overall. Will be nice to have when traveling on a plane ππ»

The concept is great however I could not make the net collapse properly. Company was great to exchange it however, before I received the exchange model, I found a smaller net that fits my needs better. So I returned the exchange model without ever even opening it. I think it's a great concept. Just not sure that it always works for everybody.

Love the net, after I use it a few times Iβll get use to collapsing it more efficiently.

Like the way the net packs away

Fantastic contraption. Slightly different folding mechanism than a car sun shade, but similar enough that a quick glance at the instructions on paper made it make sense. The darker antiqued coloration will come from use and or wax applications to the pouch and handle, cant wait for it to show its use come this time next year..!

I love it though it's a bitch to get it back in the holster it came in. I made several failed attempts until I searched out a video which enabled my success finally. All and all, I love the net now.

Even better in person. Nice addition to my other gear. Love how compact it is and lightweight too. Took a minute how to get back in the holder but once I did a few times it was very easy.

Not at all what was described online. It is impossible to fold up back into the leather pouch no matter how many times or ways me and my wife tried, not to mention it was horribly built quality that felt like something that was made cheaply in China rather than in the USA. I bought it for a beat man present for my wedding, but upon opening it I was bitterly disappointed with my purchases and immediately began the return process. No matter how good the marketing videos in the media are, wouldnβt recommend!

Takes some practice getting it folded up and put in the pouch.

Ordered this as a gift for my boyfriend to take on some backcountry trips. He mentioned he saw a friend using an older one and was impressed. I was disappointed that the wood handle arrived with rough spots and blemishes. It's easy enough to touch them up but for the price I feel I shouldn't have to.

Great idea, but we could not fold it back into the case. Watched multiple videos and no luck. Had to return it.
